On 23rd September 2022, the Ethics in Commun INRAE-Cirad-Ifremer-IRD Committee organised a tribute to Axel Kahn in the amphitheatre of the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris, to enrich the dialogue between science and ethics in the service of society.

That day, presented by Danielle Messager (journalist), brought together research workers and the presidents of the institutes with the ethics committee for a collective reflection on ethics in research, a reflection enriched by the vision and experience of Jean-Claude AMEISEN (Honorary President of the National Advisory Committee on Ethics - CCNE), Olivier LE GALL (President of the French Council for Scientific Integrity - CoFIS), Christine NOIVILLE (President of the COMETS, Ethics Committee of the CNRS), Jean-David ABEL (Administrator, Coordinator of the Biodiversity network of France Nature Environnement - FNE) and Benjamin NKOUM (Member of the National Ethics Committee for Research in Human Health - CNERSH - in Cameroon).
